Does anyone want me to make a joke about how expensive groceries are or are we collectively tired of hearing about it?
Ok, what is the DEAL with these egg prices??
Seinfeld? No? Ok, fine. I digress.
In an effort to find things that my vegetarian family that includes a lifelong Type 1 diabetic and a Celiac girlie (hi, it’s me) will actually eat and enjoy without breaking the bank AND without making the 45 minute each way drive to my beloved Trader Joe’s, I have started doing SO much of my shopping on Thrive Market - a membership-based online marketplace that offers discounted prices and is my fave place to online shop lately.
Similar to bulk stores like Costco, having the membership is totally worth it IMHO because I can get better prices on more expensive snacks and find new things that my family loves. Need a lil bonus, Jonas? For every paid membership, Thrive Market donates a membership to a low-income family making it a socially responsible option for those seeking healthy, affordable products. Helping curb food insecurity for another family while stocking my pantry? Yes, kween.
In short, I really actually love our Thrive membership and have toyed with giving one as a gift as a housewarming present for friends. Are you Thriving or just looking for your next best bite? I looked through my last six orders and here are some of my favorite finds on Thrive Market recently…
I love a wrap and my current fixation is making a salad and tossing it into a wrap for some added flavor and nutrients. I swear by these Organic Coconut Wraps and Carrot sandwich wraps.
Listen, I am simply a girl standing in front of a snack asking for some crunch and when I need that crunch I grab my fave partner for homemade hummus, Non-GMO Plantain Chips. I also love the Quinn pizzeria flavored stuffed pretzels which are like an old school Combo without the intestinal flare up for moi, you know?
When I’m looking for dinner staples to stock the pantry Thrive is my go-to for better prices on things like Gluten-Free Chickpea Pasta Shells by Banza, Grain-Free Taco Shells, and my fave Nutritional Yeast Flakes Shaker (nooch lovers, iykyk). Sometimes being gluten free means I am expected to pay WAY more casheesh for what I call “doll food” aka it tastes like plastic and is usually half the size it should be. Thrive has been a lifesaver when it comes to finding safe options that don’t taste like dirt.
My children are cereal obsessed and the Envirokidz brand is one of our faves but at our local grocery store it can run like $7 a box. Thrive usually has bundle deals on the boxes so I keep my youngest stocked inEnvirokidz Organic Panda Puffs Cereal.
Sometimes I just need a little something sweet or salty and to hit my sweet tooth with a satisfying punch, I love (former client!) Simple Mills Crunchy Double Chocolate Cookies. For that salty bite, I embrace the weird bean salad girl inside of me and have been tossing these Italian Snacking Lupini Beans, Sea Salt & Vinegar in my purse to snack on (or throw them on an Italian grinder salad!).
I am leaning into making more things at home, so I’ve been keeping certain items on hand at all times. Namely, these Daily Fiber & Digestive Enzymes for my morning protein drink, Premium Tahini for homemade sauces and aforementioned hummus, and Organic Hemp Seeds which I throw on EVERYTHING for added protein and costs way less on Thrive than they do anywhere else I’ve shopped.
Sometimes I still need convenience foods and that’s ok! Life is about BALANCE or SOMETHING. I stock my shelves and freezer with quick-to-make items like Vegan Taquitos, Chick'n Style for my husband, pizza roll alternative Snow Days Pizza Bites, Cheese for my kids, and Plant-Based Chili with Beyond Meat®, Medium for myself…which I buy in Medium but then load with dried red pepper flakes,
Sometimes my kids aren’t in the mood for a big breakfast and my oldest wants to pop a waffle into the toaster or grab an applesauce to throw blueberries into. Perf, I usually have Thrive’s Organic Apple Sauce and Van's gluten free blueberry waffles on hand for him.
I add this Organic peppermint tea to my Thrive box with every order because I drink it daily. Sometimes I need a little stomach-soothing, Christmas-feeling peppermint tea to get me through my day. I also love to ice it and add slices of oranges or lemons for a minty-citrus sip.
You can keep up with my cart on my ShopMy storefront or follow me on Pinterest for all the snacky, sweetie, delicious ideas. Are you a Thrive shopper? Any must-buy snacks and sweets we should add to our cart?

Love these finds. I've recently been debating looking into Thrive more, so this comes at the perfect time!
